I use this site to document some of the work I have done and I am a firm believer of running my own website after some disillusionment with the IT industry. Now more than ever it's imperative to own and operate your infrastructure. While it's great that hyperscalers exist (for reasons), with it comes a loss of control and education that will impact the next generations of engineers. We went from understanding the whole stack from the ground up to network engineers that can't troubleshoot a RJ45 jack. You can see this is 'old man yelling at the clouds' or inspiration to discover and finding agency.

A little bit about myself

I've been running infrastructure since the early days of the Internet, done multiple tours with large companies (Cisco, IBM, Ingram Micro, etc) and was lucky to work on some really cool projects with very smart people. Here, I want to contribute to documenting some work that kept me busy and maybe help others in their journey.
